Pay-as-you-go voice coaching

The Hiring Room provides real-time AI interviews powered by voice agents. The experience is priced per minute, and every request is grounded in the credit balance that you fund through Stripe. Please review the sections below to understand how we build, bill, and support those sessions.

Scope of service

The Hiring Room helps you practice behavioral interview scenarios with an AI voice agent that listens, responds, and analyzes your answers in real time. You can access the service through prepaid credits that cover the time you spend speaking with the agent, plus any add-on features that consume credits (e.g., in-depth analysis reports).

These terms apply to every interview session, transcript, and report generated on the platform. By creating an account or using the experience, you agree to the policies below and acknowledge that this is a transparent, pay-as-you-go coaching experience rather than a subscription commitment.

Credits and billing

Credits are the unit of service delivery: 1 credit = 1 minute of agent-led voice practice. The platform continuously deducts credits as you speak, so the total usage for a session equals the elapsed agent time that consumes microphone input and response output together.

Purchases are final and consumed minutes are non-refundable; this policy lets us keep the platform lean and adapt quickly as we build the service.

  • Unused credits remain on your account until you spend them; they stay in your wallet as long as you keep the account active.
  • We round usage in 1-second increments before subtracting credits, so stopping mid-session always charges for the actual conversation length.
  • Additional features such as accelerated analysis, extra question packs, or transcript exports may also cost credits; every charge is visible on-screen before you confirm it.

Payments and Stripe

All payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. When you top up minutes we receive only the metadata needed to credit your wallet, while Stripe handles payment authorization and receipts.

We rely on the same Stripe project throughout the stack so the credit delta we record on the server always matches the purchase your card actually triggered.

Session use, cancellations, and disputes

You can end a session at any time, but the credits already consumed are final. If the agent disconnects unexpectedly or a technical issue prevents you from speaking, contact support with the session ID so we can investigate and, if appropriate, credit the affected minutes back to your wallet.

We reserve the right to pause, suspend, or terminate accounts that misuse the service, including attempts to spoof voice input, game the credit meter, or violate applicable laws. If we terminate your account, we will provide a pro-rated summary of unused credits upon request.

Modifications

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, pricing, or legal requirements. Material changes to how credits are billed or how we handle voice data will be communicated via email and the in-app banner before taking effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the notice period confirms your agreement to the updated terms.

Service disclaimers

The Hiring Room is an early-stage offering. We provide the service "as is" without express warranties, and the availability, features, or pricing may change while we learn from real usage.

We aim to minimize liability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted session quality or results. If you rely on this platform for scheduling or career decisions, please do so at your own risk.
